| I would love to see Francisco Liriano in a Brewers unifotm. Hes only 28 years old and damn good left handed pitcher. He would add another vet to this young pitching staff. The thing that scares me is he had Tommy John surgery. But I have no idea what hes loooking for on years and pay. |

I wish I could tell you that I knew who out there would be a perfect fit for the "veteran arm" Tom Hardicourt keeps saying the team is looking to add. I do know that we should be active in FA this offseason, and if we are indeed gonna "go for it" like I think we will, we are gonna need to sign a solid #2 in FA and a few quality relievers for the bullpen.

Honestly, who on that list do you think would be good fits in Mil? _________________

The AFL started today:
Hunter Morris hit in the cleanup spot but when 0-3 with a walk. Khris Davis went 0-2 with 2 walks and 2 Ks.
Kyle Heckathorn got the win by going 2 IP, 0 R, 0 BB, 1 H, 2 K. Johnny Hellweg got an 8 pitch save (all strikes) with 3 groundouts, but did give up a hit.
Josh Prince was used as a pinch hitter, played 3rd, and went 0-1. _________________

i thought hellweg was going to be developed as a starter, no? i think he has the potential to be dominant if he gets that 3rd pitch down. _________________ Go Packers! |

I'd take the calculated risk of the young SPs. I agree with rams that Anibal is going to get paid. He has 3 straight years of 190 innings, FIP 3.32, 3.35, 3.53. Dempster and Lohse only did that (or came close) 1 year and they are 4-5 years older.
Get your stuff together Washington |

| Latos went full on Marcum in Game 6 for the Reds today. Talk about a choke job. |

We very well may have a Yankees/Cardinals World Series. Disgusting, maybe the Tigers make it and Fielder avenges the loss last year for us.
Which means the series would go seven games, Tigers would be up 10-0 with two outs in the ninth, get down to one strike multiple times and give up two grand slams and then back to back to back home runs and lose. |

Why do so many hate on STL? Or do the the fans just rub them the wrong way? Because that is one gritty bunch.
Beltran is so money in the postseason. Such a great player. _________________
