This can be true if you are just smoking hookah with nothing else to do. I like to consider hookah as a supplement to an activity.
I usually bring out the hookah when watching a game with friends or while chilling at the amphitheater next to my dorm. My other friends like to do it while pregaming, after they are done for the night, etc. | We have a hookah bar in downtown charleston off the market. I only go when I have friends with me and I always order the food there because it's amazing middle eastern stuff like babaganoush and schwarma _________________

Agreed. It's like a social thing. I don't really know how to explain it. When I talked to my dad about hookah he really didn't get it because of that.
Also talked to a hommie about the milk thing and it's so bubbles are bigger and you only put a couple drops in the water. I take back the nasty factor I placed on it _________________

I've seen those things. They look pretty awesome, but I'd rather save 20 bucks than buy it. Is there that big of a noticeable difference in the temperature of the smoke? _________________

Yeah and the smoke is stupid thick. I don't understand...when you are done it just looks like a bunch of multi colored rocks in the bowl. _________________

What did you think I meant? Pour only milk?
Totally nailed it with the social thing though. Last year, my apartment was right in front of my complex and a lot of people walked by it on the way to other complexes to go to parties. We set up a hookah out there right in front of it once a weekend and always had a good time. Good way to meet people and you look chill as hell. _________________

Love hookah. I don't smoke much if ever anymore, but it was something I enjoyed doing a lot in college.
Rose shisha tobacco while sipping on an ice cold coca cola while reading on my porch or dorm deck was wonderful. To make myself even more of a hipster cliche, I'd often do this while listening to an Iron & Wine record playing in the background. _________________ Welcome to Houston, DeAndre Hopkins! |
