Jarrett's the definition of a bum. Dude has talent, just zero football IQ and horrible instincts on the field. He has no idea what to do when he's on the field.
Speaking of 2nd round safeties who were a giant reach.....How is Mike Mitchell doing?? (Not trying to be condescending, I legitimately am curious how he is) _________________

Our 2nd Round Safety reach, Tavon Wilson, had an INT on his NFL debut on Sunday _________________

That INT was 90% because of the corner (Arrington?), Wilson actually got beat, but I thought he played pretty well aside from that. _________________

Why does everybody act like this is the first time that this has happened to a team... The 49ers drafted Taylor Mays in the 2nd Round and traded for a low round pick year after that, the Patriots Darius Butler was drafted in the 2nd Round and cut the next year, Darcel McBath was drafted by the Broncos in the 2009 2nd Round and cut two years after that. Pat White was drafted in the 2nd Round of the 2009 draft by the Dolphins and cut a year after.
I could go on and on... Teams miss on draft pick, settle down people. _________________

Hmm, I remember liking him as a prospect but thinking a 2nd was too high for him on draft day. Surprising to see him cut so early. _________________

I'm curious. What's the earliest a 1st or 2nd round pick has been cut? _________________

I wouldn't be surprised if the Eagles had better Safeties than Atlanta. But yeah he was garbage. _________________

No more then Patriot fans and Meriweather. Fact is most eagle fans are infatuated with finding the next Brian Dawkins and latch onto any hope when a player has a trait or two similar. Problem with that is HOF safties don't grow on trees and the likelihood of it happening again are slim to none. Similar situation to what the Steelers and Ravens fans will be in post Polamalu/Reed. _________________

Underwood forced their hand when he walked out of camp on the first day. The guy was the ultimate head case. Massive blunder by the Vikings brass when they didn't listen to MSU coaches and staff when they told teams not to draft him because of his crazy past. |
