Probably consider it an action adventure I guess.

Secret of Mana was excellent. Final Fantasy IV was excellent. Baldur's Gate II was excellent. NWN I&II were excellent. Final Fantasy I was amazing. Final Fantasy VI was brilliant.
Reading through this list makes me want to play RPGs nonstop for like the next three weeks.

Yeah, me too  I just wish some of these games were re-made with new graphics.

Yeah, me too I just wish some of these games were re-made with new graphics. |
Meh, I like the original stuff most of the time. Gives that nostalgic feeling.

No. RPG's are all about leveling a character's skills.
Like being able to level a power rating, or speed rating by using experience points won in game. If they ever had you level up your character's skills in GTA it would be an RPG

thats very loose, cuz that would mean games like Saints Row 3 and Sleeping Dogs are RPGs.

To me, its about a game giving you choices of how your character behaves and what his/hers/its distinguishing characteristics are. In simple: Choices. Many of them.

Daggerfall isn't even on this list.
I'm not even going to mention any more of the many issues with this list, but really? Skyrim at 7 and Daggerfall isn't even on the list(which it should be anywhere from 1-5)? Wtf?
