Hey guys, I was just wondering if any of you make a living as graphic designers? I'm thinking of going to art school for graphic design and I wanted to get some information about what it's like to do that for a living. I no longer make sigs or anything since I haven't had photoshop for a long time. I used to play around on photoshop all the time and I became pretty good at making sigs, although not as good as some of you.
If there's any professionals out there, I'd appreciate some information. _________________ Cleveland Browns Forum Hall of Fame Inductee

Mainly freelance work is what you're going to find unless you've got a degree, which is what I'm assuming you're wanting to obtain. Typically, through the industry I've made about an additional 12k-20k worth of income over the last 16 months or so additionally ontop of my day job.
Keep in mind I don't have a degree and I'm all freelance work specializing in photo restoration and manipulation. There's alot of money in this industry so I hope this little bit of info helps. _________________
