An Atlanta Falcons player was arrested early Tuesday morning on charges of driving under the influence.

Michael Turner was booked in the Gwinnett County Jail at 5 a.m. and released at 7 a.m. The jail booking sheet lists Turner’s place of employment as the Atlanta Falcons.

Turner, a starting running back, was arrested in Suwanee on charges of speeding and driving under the influence.

The Atlanta Falcons defeated the Denver Broncos at home Monday night. Turner contributed to the win with a touchdown run.

Idiot, not that he played a part in last nights win any RB can score from 6 inches out on 3 tries. If I was ATL I'd be trying to find a new RB after the season.

I hope this guy is out of the league after the year. 30+ back with tons of tread on the tires and he does something like this...doesn't deserve to be on a roster.

I hope his suspension is this year.
