Still early and things might change but Polamalu being out another week scares me. |
We'll see. But even if both are out, that is a 2 week longer stretch of rest including the bye.
We'll see a big shake-up post bye week as those starters who want to keep their jobs will all be back on the field. _________________

| Probably just precautionary. Raiders haven't looked very good, and it'd be nice to sit Harrison and Polamalu out an extra 2 weeks and give them more time to heal. Of course, I'm assuming Mendenhall doesn't play either. |

| This is a perfect time, imo, to rest the injured with THA RAIDAHS coming up and the bye week after. |

I agree JPN. At least in a subpackage. _________________

lets hope Harison's knee is healed by then. If it takers a few more weeks after the bye, then let him wait. Rather have him for the playoffs than possibly aggravating the knee more.
This will allow carter/worilds to play and show if they have the ability to start if required. |

You might want to find a piece of wood to knock on. I am not at all saying the raiders are good but its the NFL, anybody can beat anyone on any given Sunday. The moment you under-rate a team and try to rest starters (especially 2 former Defencive Player of Year and perennial pro-bowlers) is the moment you could get beat. They have some decent weapons offensively in McFadden, Palmer, and Hayward-Bay. So i wouldn't sit out anyone thats fully capable of playing, just simply cause we are playing a not so great team.
But with that bieng said, definitely don't force them back if they are truly unable to play. |
