A lot of shows are on the cable channels do it. They all take a lot longer to film, and they don't get the budget the networks get.

I kinda understand chopping TWD. Not super recognized/awards of any kind that I'm aware of.
BB has won a ot of academy awards, and they still chopped it. I think its dumb, but I get why

Walking Dead actually gets more viewers than Breaking Bad. Both are intense, and it takes a lot of long days to film one episode.

I know, everybody I know who read the comic books was super excited about her character but she is HORRIBLE on the show.
From what I've heard/read, her character is much more normal and she is just a super tough chick. I dont know why the show gave us someone who doesnt talk and just scowls throughout.
Really the only way the charcter would even make sense is if someone who read the comic books told you about her. If I was watching this show by myself I dont even think I would remeber her name, and I definitley wouldnt get why she is even in the show.

I'm in the camp that believes that Michonne's character will "open up" once she finds a place where she can truly "trust" the people living around her.
I don't think we've seen here experience that as of yet, as the impression given by the start of this season was that She and Andrea were simply doing everything they could to survive.
That's not exactly a situation that's conducive to a great deal of trust building.
(Think about how Daryl has "evolved" from the first season to now. True, there was no baseline for him, as he's not in the comics, but he was a bit 1-dimensional at the beginning, and now it seems as though all of the fans would storm AMC headquarters if they took him off the show.)

No that I think about it Woodbury is far from prepared for someone to attack. It'll work against walkers but people with guns and grenades no way. Only like 5 people in the town who can shoot and the chick with the bow sucks. Trained people like Rick or Shane could take it over with a hand full of people(like Rick has). So it's very likely a group of 4-5 could take over a town of 70+. They aren't as secure as they appear. Those soldiers could have took the place over in about 5 min.
How come no one is talking about what's happening at the prison? The previews show Carl yelling "leave her" and walkers everywhere.

I was trying to figure out who he was talking about, and the only one I can think is the baby. He seems attached to Carol, he has a thing for Beth, and the only other "her" in the prison is the baby.
It's still kinda weird to think of Carl as the enforcer of the group.

Most plausible idea I have is either Carol or Beth get bit and are lying on the ground dead or something and he says to leave her. I couldn't see him leaving Judith and the only reason he'd leave Beth or Carol is if they were dead/bit.
It definitely is. It's showing how much he's changed since season 2 which is crazy.
