Red Zone Offense through 5 weeks:

Trips: 16

TDs: 11

FGs: 4*

No points: 1*

* on FG = One field goal within the opposing team's 20 isn't included because the kick was the only play actually in the red zone.

* on no points = The only time the 49ers made the red zone and didn't score was due to the team doing the victory formation.

Briefly confused me on the Kaepernick reverse and subsequent fumble lost.. but that play started on the 26... so nevermind.

Good to read this, thanks! Smile

Yea I was sure that would have been in the red zone but I went through all the game play by plays to compile those.

I love those RZ numbers and the only game where we really didn't take advantage of it was against the Vikings. Of course, we lost that game and played our worse game. The funny thing is last year, the numbers would be opposite with 11 FGs and 4 TDs Laughing .

I don't really know what's going on here, but I like the rankings and the color green, so I approve.

That's off of PFF and all our O-lineman are graded in the upper echelon as well as Bruce Miller.

Wow. Highly balanced, productive offense with an elite defense. This should be our year, boys.

Averaging over 20 1st downs a game?! Not sure when we had that kind of offense last.

Dwight Clark always mentions how Bill Walsh had the first downs target at 21, and if they reached that mark they would win.
