… You can't be serious. I mean, you've seen him play this year, right? Clearly not a one year wonder. |
I have. It's called a bold statement. One which I believe. Most guys have monster years and people say prove it to me again. The only reason people aren't saying it for him is because he plays for the saints.Great athlete but lets see what he does this year. _________________

i went with vd. i think he is a better all around te.
he has elete athleticism, as does graham. both make big plays
but vernons blocking is one of, if not the best in the league for a te _________________ ***WE RUN THE WEST!***

Sorry neezy, Graham is not going to be a 1 year wonder. He already is off to a start reminiscent to the year he had last year. Even though I love VD, I have to go with Graham. He makes tough catches that VD can't and has better hands. Davis is no doubt the better blocker so for the Niners he is better, but if I'm starting a team I'm taking Graham. _________________

Jimmy Graham is far from a one year wonder... Maybe a 3 year wonder because Brees is literally gone get that man killed throwing into triple coverage.
I always been a fan of V.D the guys is a beast at least physically and he's starting to get his mental issues together along with his talent. He's one heck of a blocker but he not even on the same tier as Graham at hand skills and you would see this is you go back and look at the catches themselves. Graham makes so many spectaluar catches in traffic that I won't even call them spectacular catches anymore. For now on the are "Graham Catches". Lol All Bs Graham has the best hand at TE in the league with the exception of that TD he drop against the Panthers.
Grahams blocking to be honest, any opinon I made on this would be false because I don't watch it. I am usually screaming at the TV, trying to figure out why Ingram is in the game on first down running up the middle. This week I will try to watch him though his blocking down field is pretty good though. _________________

Where is KingofBS to argue how Gates is still the best TE in the league?
Its coming. Count on it.
As for this...its a push IMO. Graham is the best receiving TE, but Davis is a good receiving TE and a far better blocker. _________________

Taking Vernon mostly because of consistency, he also doesn't have a Drew Brees throwing to him. Then again, I don't even know who the Saints TE was before Graham. He definitely worked his way there so I'm not giving all the credit to Brees. If Graham continues to play like he did last year I'd take him but for now, Davis all day. _________________

| Vernon Davis is the best all around TE in the league.. U have to factor in QB play, Davis would be boss if Brady/Brees were passing to him |

That honor easily goes to Gronkowski, also why do people keep saying this? Alex Smith has been more than capable of getting Vernon Davis the ball when he's been open. Its not like he has Rex Grossman throwing him the ball. _________________

Who cares? Jacob Tamme is better than both of them.

Graham is impossible to cover with a LB or Safety. He has about the best red zone presence I have ever seen from a TE and runs routes like a WR. It's not even close. _________________ Future Starting Safety for the Cowboys

Any TE could put up gaudy stats if you are throwing the ball 45+ times a game. _________________
