Dude, no need to rub it in. The league has ruled, and it looks like you're trying to anger and incite - something we don't like in these parts. _________________

i thought it was an illegal hit but not suspension worthy. looked more like he tried to hit him in the shoulder but he moved right before the hit, not trying to excuse it but it does seem suspension worthy. _________________

I have a hard time believing his intent was anything but ring Schaub's bell...and he couldn't even do THAT right. |
Well in his defense, he did remove a piece of Schaub's ear lobe. That's pretty impressive. _________________

Mundy should get the same or worse for his hit on DHB. | Can you reduce the size of your avy, please? They're supposed to be no larger than 80x80. _________________

The fact that the league didn't announce anything as of yet (despite having a ruling out for Mays) tells me it might be WORSE. That hit was one of the scariest things I have ever seen while watching football. For a while, I really thought that he had killed Darrius Heyward Bey, just a frightening scene I don't want to see as a fan of the NFL. _________________

Oh, sure thought it was 125x125 for some reason.

If Joe Mays was a superstar... Oh well, I don't mind the suspension sends a message. _________________

Except Mundy's hit wasn't a dirty hit. It was a terrible hit but he didn't go in there with the intent to take a cheap shot. He even extends his arms. Mays literally just runs as hard as he can with his helmet into Schaub. _________________

I think the suspension happened because of the result of the hit. I dont think the hit itself was suspension worthy but was worthy of a hefty fine. _________________

99 times out of 100 you can't tell intent. However, this may be the one time you can tell that a guy simply wanted to inflict pain and nothing more. _________________

You can say this with flags but otherwise there would be suspensions any time a huge concussion happened. Sure this is rare with the ear lobe loss but even if that wasn't announced I'd think that they have suspended this one because as I said to someone else feels like you can judge intent on this one. _________________

i really dont think its that obvious what he wanted to do there. i mean half an inch the other way and its not a penalty. im not trying to debate it was a penalty or not but a suspension seems a bit much...unless he has a long history of this.
but anyone got a if or a link to the DHB hit? _________________

The league said because he got a RTP against Matt Ryan 2 weeks ago it factored into their call. _________________
