YES!!
I met him. It was a happy moment. Awesome guy. (And I always felt he was very underrated.) _________________

Sllim. We posted this at the exact same time. Tie goes to the non-moderator. It's in the rules.

Mine was better, but mine was also easier to delete.
But I would still rather have Donahue than Harris. He may be nice, but he wasn't a very good punter. |

Now, now... mine had a quote-link combo in the post. Pretty high degree of difficulty.
I'm not sure about Donahue/Harris. I actually think it's pretty close. _________________

This is like when the Red Wings re-signed Osgood, only a lot less important. _________________

Mine had mystery, many made you excited to enter. But yes, it's probably pretty close, it's weird how few good punters there really are (and FG kickers). It amazes me that there are not 32 people in the world who can place a punt with a decent consistency and can boot it 60 yards or more. |

WHAT?!? Why wouldn't we bring back Donahue who should have gotten the job to begin with? I knew Old man Ben gay Graham wouldn't last the season. |

Nevermind Donahue, Brian Mooreman and Chas Henry are both available and we chose Nick Harris? |

Uh oh. I think IDOG just started the next big topic.
If Harris comes in and punts terribly (it's impossible, but bear with me)... would he be viewed in a similar light as Logan? Mediocre at his job, someone else can do it better, waste of a roster spot, etc.
Considering what Hanson did this week, it's something that has to be said. _________________

Yeah, when he came in my first thought was "well, he's doing a better job of this than Graham has." Then again I guess there's a reason I've never seen a team successfully pull a combo kicker-punter to save a roster spot. Atlanta tried to do it with Michael Koenen a few years ago, but that ended pretty abruptly after he missed 6 of 9 field goals in the first three weeks or something like that. |

Harris, Ironic for him really, was with the Lions when we were a perenial loser, only to play for the 5-11 Jags last year while the Lions made the playoffs...
Hopefully he can experience a winning season again...
Although wasent Harris replaced by Donahue as the Lions wanted to get younger at the position in the first place? _________________ Soccer Forums Most Underated Poster 2012 Award Winner. |
