Washington is also another team that has beefed up and acquired more depth in the past 9 months.
Nene, Okafor, Ariza, and Beal. They also got rid of dead weight in Rashard Lewis, McGee, and Blatche (at least as far as their play in Washington is concerned).
Not sure if it's enough though. It'll all come down to John Wall.
I think they'll miss the playoffs. At most sneak in as the 8th seed. _________________

Went Portland, although I love the potential of their roster, and could see 3-4 teams worse than them on the list. _________________

I'm hoping for at least 20-22 votes per poll. We're getting close to that mark in this one. Hopefully we get there in another 12-20 hours. _________________

Milwaukee is so overrated on this forum. Their Golden State from two years ago with a worse shooter at PG _________________

I think they're overrated as well, but they got more defense than those Warriors. They have a deeper frontcourt too. _________________

People still really seem to respect the Hawks. Interesting.
I mean yes, they still have some talented players on their roster. However, how well they mesh together has always been the question, not how talented the individual players are. Now without Joe Johnson leading that team, it becomes an issue of, is Al Horford your leader or is it Josh Smith? Two guys meant to play one position but forced to co-exist for the sake of the franchise. Barring some out-of-nowhere emergence from their rookies, I don't see who exactly helps make this team any better than they were last season. Combine all that with the fact that you have a multitude of teams improving in the East, making for a much tougher schedule, and I don't see them making the playoffs this year. But I could be wrong, guess time will tell. _________________

I think the Hawks are still better than the Bucks and the Wizards.
Now that the 76ers have Bynum and others, I think they move ahead of the Hawks, which pushes Atlanta to the 8th spot in the East. _________________

Can't say I agree with that, at all. The moves the Wizards and Hawks made this off season will make them much better teams than they were last year, at least definitively (imo) in regards to the Wizards. But again, we'll have to wait and see how things ultimately shake out in the East.
Also, everyone seems to keep forgetting about Toronto and the moves they made. I think it's going to be really fun to see how things play out in the lower tier of the East playoff bracket this coming season. _________________
