^^^ Yeah... sometimes I wonder why I ever ventured outside of the Ravens forum.
But on another note, the Chargers- Chiefs game should be a good scouting opportunity. Rivers is a top talent QB and he'll certainly be testing that Chiefs secondary, if he's able to look good against it, then maybe they're play is closer to their stats after all. But as of right now, I have to believe that talented secondary is going to turn those numbers around and be one of the creams that rise to the top. But we'll see. _________________

What happened to him being the new Ed Reed? I actually somewhat bought into that when he was a prospect. |

As long as it helps them beat the Patriots.
Also hard to classify Seven Nation Army as a chant the Ravens invented. _________________

How does Michael Oher vs. Tamba Hali not scare you!?
I'm absolutely terrified about Cary Williams going up against a legit WR (Baldwin) this week. Scares me to death knowing that Cary is now playing with some confidence and might think he can stray out of coverage and actually make plays. _________________

I'd rather he do that then just try an cover and simply get abused for an entire drive. At least if he gambles there's a chance that its going to be a positive play, whereas if he doesn't- it's a guarantee that he's going to be exposed. _________________

The last time he gambled, he left a wide open Eagles WR in the endzone while him and Ed Reed stood there and stared at each other blankly.
But who knows, maybe him finally getting a pick is what he needed to actually play with some confidence and maybe, idk, turn around and find the ball when it's thrown directly at him? _________________

But you act as though Cary covering the WR would have made any difference... it would have always ended with the same result... TD!!!!!
But really, on that play Cary was gambling over stopping a runner (Vick) and not gambling to intercept a ball. They're two different gambles. Cary has been getting challenged so much in large part because he's been exhibiting such poor ball skills, well if he starts being more aggressive on balls thrown his way, sure he might give up some more yards on completed passes against him, but he should also get his hands on enough balls that maybe QBs choose to challenge him less... and maybe our offense sees more TD opportunities because of it. _________________

When did Baldwin become "legit"? |

Whoa... We're top 3-5 for sure, but it's crystal clear that the Texans are the best team in the league right now. Anyways, I'm also anticipating a hard-fought W. I'll go with 27-16 for now. _________________

Whoa! Guy is top 80 in receiving yards. Have some respect.

Texans look like the same team we beat twice last year. They're our biggest roadblock for sure but I'm not bowing down to them. _________________

Well I mean he's more legit than any WR the Browns have, and IMO he's on the same level as Brandon Lloyd this year.
It could just be a gut feeling based upon what I've seen from Cary, but Baldwin vs. Cary Williams could be a huge matchup in favor of the Chiefs. _________________
