As soon as I saw it, yes Kevin Costner is king of baseball movies. Answer is Bull Durham.
Now, people are going to say Field of Dreams, and yeah it is an awesome movie. But Bull Durham can't be touched on a baseball level with realism. They showed what's it like almost exact at the minor league levels especially back then. Of course they had to have some Hollywood 'love' story in it. But the baseball aspect was perfect.
Field of Dreams is what it is. It's a dream that all baseball fans wish. They could have their own ball field and all old-school players would just come and play for them. I loved the story of it.
Both were great movies but there is just so much gold in Bull Durham with situations, it's perfect. _________________

For the Love of the Game | I've noticed this a million times from you and other posters and never said anything, but I love this movie so I'm going to finally correct you. There is no "the" in this movie's title.

I know there is no "the" I just cannot stand to write it without it. It sounds ridiculous. _________________

Just posted this in another thread. Field of Dreams is the best.
Major League is probably my second favorite. Charlie Sheen was great in that movie. For Love of the Game, Bull Durham, Moneyball, and The Natural aren't bad either. Kevin Costner is the king of baseball movies. _________________

The Tigers fan in me says For the Love of the Game, but as long as it's baseball and Kevin Costner, I really don't care, they truly are all great. _________________
