Would you rather have Magic or Kareem?
Many have Magic as the 2nd best player by Jordan and many also have Kareem as high as 2nd.
I would take Magic. _________________ Robert Griffin III: 2012-2013 NFL Rookie of the Year

Gimme Kareem/Alcindor.
I love me some Magic Johnson, but I think Kareem is at least #2 all-time. _________________

| If its for this era, I would take Kareem. Seeing what DHoward is doing in this with far less skills an no real dominant centers, Kareem would pull off Wilt Chamberlain like stats. |

What do you mean when you ask who would I rather have?
Both are exceptional players, but to build my franchise around? I take the big man 10/10. _________________

Same. Kareem was more dominant than Shaq was during the Lakers 3peat. People seem to forget that. _________________

Lew Alcindor was the more dominant player, as evidenced by the all-time scoring record, numerous years in the league, and being the center peice of multiple championships.
However, I would take Magic out of personal preference. He was always one of my favorites of all-time. _________________

Yeah if you started a franchise, shoulda put that.
This is true, as big men are key to championships but having Magic as your PG fills almost every hole for your team lol.
But you can't go wrong with the most unstoppable offensive shot of all time. Kareem was a pretty good rebounder and defender as well. _________________ Robert Griffin III: 2012-2013 NFL Rookie of the Year

I have both Laker fan here
Seriously though, if I had to choose one? I'd choose Kareem. Barely though. Magic is my 2nd favorite Laker all time behind the Black Mamba. _________________

During their Lakers time, Magic Johnson was the better player. _________________

Agreed, but Kareem had played 10+ years by then. He was the old man on campus by then fo sho. _________________

Kareem was a better two-way player than Magic. I'll take him. _________________

Oh no doubt, it could very easily be Kareem being the better all time player with Magic Johnson being the best Laker of all time.
You can't wrong either way, but I would still take Magic. _________________
