There was no presure on him to make or miss the kick. How do we know that wasn't his 5th try at that distance?

His problem was Accuracy, and inconsistency with the game on the line. Everyone knows he has a strong leg and everyone knows why he's still unemployed

| Kickers do this all the time. No pads, no game, no pressure. Kickers routinely mmake 55+ yarders in warm-up before the game, yet in the game, miss 37 yard field goals. |

Graham Gano's main problem was his line couldn't prevent opposing team's from blocking field goals. Or innacuracy rather, that's what I meant to say.

I bet kickers do not make 70 yard field goals all the time... Sure some can do it with regularity, but yeah... not a bunch.

With some of the young kickers in the league, maybe 10...but I would guess it's closer to 6-7 in reality - really tough to know. Gano will get another shot because of his leg strength.
