If Simpson has a disc problem, can we realistically not make a move to bolster the WR corp? I have disliked TO for basically forever, but he is a big target, will go across the middle, and is in desperate need of a paycheck. Reports out of camp were that he was on his best behavior and a consummate pro, do you think he could be a viable option given the state of our WRs? Given that we have exceeded expectations to this point and need a red zone and deep threat, could he be worth the risk? He reportedly ran a 4.45 in camp and has the history, albeit checkered....risk vs. reward.... _________________ Skol Vikings! |

NO to TO, for me.
who says Simpson has a "disk problem?" could just be a pinched nerve or something. _________________

| I would rather have Devin Aromashodu. When he gets a chance, he has been really efficient this year. |

Could swing a trade for Dwayne Bowe, but it probably isnt worth it.
There really arent any options that sticking with the guys on the roster. |

I would stay as far as possible from T.O.
This team has a good thing going for it right now, and its primary WR, Harvin, is developing beautifully into a team leader. Throwing a diva WR into the mix gives rise to countless negative possible outcomes; recall that Randy Moss (as much as I love him) had a very particular effect on Harvin while he was here. Better to steer clear. _________________

Not only that, but 2010 also showed how costly it is to throw away a valuable future pick for a perceived immediate upgrade. Imagine if MN had an extra 3rd round pick from 2011, what one more likely starter would be doing for this team right now.
Granted TO is a free agent, he wont cost anything to acquire but he clearly wont mesh with what is going on in MN. |

How about dealing for Bowe and Flowers both? KC needs to start over..... _________________ Wins are a team stat, not a QB stat |

I'd be very interested in trading for Bowe is he could be had for less than a 1st round pick.
I'd be perfectly fine with;
Minnesota gets - Dwayne Bowe
Kansas City gets - 2012 2nd and 2013 conditional 3rd ( becomes 2nd if Bowe has 1000 yards) _________________

I'd just roll with what we have, getting someone like Bowe would assume we are making a playoff/super bowl push, realistically that is still a year, maybe two away depending on the improvement of Ponder, get young players who can do more than show up in garbage time. Draft someone in the first three rounds and see what happens. _________________ Gnat's Movie Reviews

Two young and cheap starters for Bowe probably isnt worth it in my mind. With those 2nd and 3rd round picks, you have to view those prospects as starters and that would be a heavy price to pay given Bowe's age. Plus, you then have to pay Bowe, in addition to paying Harvin and maybe Simpson. |

I would rather bring back Bernard Berrian than sign TO.
Either way we should just roll with DA and Burton _________________
