Keys to the Game:
- Offensive Line must bring their A-Game. The Bears lead the NFL in Sacks (14) while the Cowboys OL has consistently given up pressure.
- Front Seven must play smart and stay in their gap. Forte is a great Running Back who can make even the smallest mistake a big gain.
- Turnovers! We need more TO's! We can't have Sean Lee leading the team again... Carr and Claiborne need to step up.
Key Players
- Tony Romo
- DeMarco Murray
- DeMarcus Ware
- Matt Forte
- Julius Peppers
- Devin Hester

Frack. We are doomed. You broke the cycle of success....
...unless...if we pick the person who made the last winning thread to have back-to-back threads he loses his mojo. MH - if we win, we should switch up GDT creators every week. If we lose, you go back to the dungeon.
Anyways. Week 4 Challenge! Barring a fantastical tie - only one Division will be awarded a point this week.
BOLD your responses. Anything not in bold will not be accepted. You have until kickoff.
More Passing Yards: Romo or Culter
More Rushing Yards: Murray/Jones or Forte/Bush
More Receptions: Dez/Miles or Marshall/Jeffery
More TDs: Witten or Davis
Sacked more: Romo or Cutler
More INTs: Dallas DB or Chi DB
More forced turnovers: Dallas Front Seven or Chi Front Seven
Most penalized team: Dallas or Chicago
Winner: Dallas or Chicago
Find me one interesting fact, refer to last weeks challenge.
For those curious how I will score it. Each correct answer gets you a point. Which ever division has the most points by the end - wins. MOBILIZE YOUR DIVISIONS. _________________

I don't know how to call this game.
Two underperforming teams.
I honestly think whatever QB survives this game is going to be the winner since neither line can do anything and both defenses are playing at a high level.
Good luck and let's hope both our QBs survive. _________________

Sometimes adversity brings out an unexpected brilliant performance. So who knows maybe this is the week that the O Line, tired of hearing how they suck, step up and perform against a very good front 7. Having said that I am not a religious person but I will be saying a prayer for Romo - he could get killed! _________________ Northland |

Over in the Challenges Thread, T_O7 didn't specify where to post our challenge, so I posted in both the Challenges Thread and here.

This is the 23rd meeting between Dallas and Chicago. Dallas hold a 13-9 lead in the series.

I even posted a link making it easier for T_O7 to check my "fact". In fact guys, that link has lots of Dallas vs Chicago content on it. It should be pretty easy to get lots of "facts" off that 1 link. _________________

I'll take my Bears b/c I'm a homer and I think we can run the ball on Dallas, but Dallas can't run it on us.
Other than that offense could be a thing that doesn't come very easy in this game...at all. _________________

SIG BET!!
Whichever QB dies, the other team's fans have to where a RIP sig for the remainder of the career of the the surviving QBs career.
That being said, this game feels really even on paper to me. Both teams have the ability to move the ball and put points on the board, sometimes at will, when they're clicking. Each have a solid running game with a high-tier class of RB. I think CHI has the better backfield, DAL has the better aerial attack.
Defensively, also very close. Running the football for the Cowboys against that CHI defense is going to be really tough -- whereas I think it'll be equally tough for CHI to move the football through the air against the Cowboys secondary. Neither OL can protect to save their lives, or their QBs for that matter, so I think this game is really going to come down to the trenches. Literally.
Whichever OL plays better, that team will win. Hands down. _________________

Unless there is some epic setback this week, Forte should be playing and starting with the bulk of the snaps as usual. I've been monitoring this greatly because I just traded for him in my fantasy league. _________________

By all accounts it sounds like Forte should be ready. _________________

Okay, so I was premature or something but I just saw this:
| Quote: | Report: Forte likely to sit Week 4: CBSSports.com NFL Insider Jason La Canfora reports Bears running back Matt Forte, who sat out Week 3 with an ankle injury, is likely to sit out again Week 4 at Dallas. According to a team source, the Bears are working out free agent running back Ryan Grant Tuesday.

Interesting to say the least, and bodes really well for us. Sucks for me in Fantasy though. _________________

This is going to be another ugly game I'm afraid for the Cowboys. Both offensive lines suck, both QBs are getting killed, and both defenses have been very stingy thus far. The Bears have the advantage on the defensive line but I think Dallas has the better LBs. Dallas has a better WR core, but Chicago has the better RBs.
Should be a physical, ugly game. I am going to watch the previous Bears games later this week so hopefully I'll have a little more to add later on. _________________
