It's amazing with the long list of injuries I have had that I have required very few sticthes.
Had a shoulder reconstruction which only needed three as it was key hole surgery.
Had a opperation on my left eye to fix a detached retina from a broken eye socket playing rugby. which needed a few internal stitches inside my eye _________________

Got wooden speared on the top of my head when I was 6. 20ish stitches I think. Got assaulted (and batteried) when I was 19. maybe 6 stiches to fix the gash under my eye, but I had surgery to remove the back of my eye from the fracture in my face. Had morphine that night = best night ever. Pink Floyd FTW. Honestly it doesn't even hurt when you get punched full force in the head. It hurts "so bad" that you get numb and don't feel a damned thing. Good thread, VD. _________________

I've never broken anything. Although I did get my finger stuck in a car door when I was in fourth grade. My nail turned purple and fell off a few months later. _________________

Only stitches I've had were the dental ones after getting my wisdom teeth out.
Split my foot open on a rock/concrete while launching a jet ski into the water, but didn't think I needed stitches -- doctor 3 days later disagreed but said it was too late at that point.
Other than that, I've had my fair share of injuries (broken my right hand, my left thumb, and partially tore something in my shoulder just in the past 4 months alone) but nothing requiring stitches. Though depending on how my thumb heals over the next 2 weeks, that may require surgery so we'll see if that happens and how they handle it. _________________

When I was 12 I thought it be cool to try and ride a bike without my hands down a hill.
Ended up breaking my left hand and my left arm, didnt have a helmet on so I needed stitches on my chin and my back.
Man that was the best 7 months ever _________________

Crashed my bike into a wooden fence when I was young and narrowly missed my eye. Still have a scar that goes through my eye brow, took about 15 stitches to close up. Busted my head open on my metal bedframe, fell off a water slide going into a pool. I got injured a lot when I was young, could explain why I'm such an idiot now. Also, had surgery on my ankle that had to be stitched up and my wisdom teeth pulled. Oh and when I was younger I stepped on a shell on the beach and it destroyed my foot that took quite a few stitches as well. _________________

I did that too!! I fell out of a tree when I was like 12. The doctor said to tell people it was from a dirt biking accident. _________________

Happened like three weeks ago, I got my finger caught in an industrial sized cheese grater.
Need 7 stitches to resow the tip of my finger back on.
Also, i approve of the thread title. _________________

Fell out of a tree when I was in 5th grade, cracked my head open, needed 9 stiches to close it. Sadly, my daughter has had more stiches then me (though I have broken more bones). _________________

Same. I had hand surgery in high school as well that required surgery. That's it though. _________________

I had stitches one time. I cut my finger open trying to catch a falling root beer bottle at the grocery store I worked at. Needless to say, that was my first and last experience doing that. _________________

None. Only staples in my head when I cut it open on a nightstand. _________________
