Yes. And I thought when the "celebrations" by the Nationals' fans when they guaranteed a spot in the playoffs was weak as well.
Winning the division? Then you celebrate. |

Fredi Gonzalez says protest was already denied. Unclear how. He says umpires consulted with someone, maybe league official, during delay. |

I haven't seen what happened yet but I keep saying there is no reason for baseball to have umpires anymore. Computers can tell exactly if it's a strike or ball instantly and anything else someone could tell in a few seconds hat the right call is on replay. Baseball being handcuffed to their traditions is the only thing keeping them around. _________________

A computer couldn't have made this call. _________________

Cwood, THAT is why we hate the Cardinals. For a team that mentions class all the time, that is literally the most classless thing they could do.
An actual 'classy team' would come out and say, "Yes, it was a controversial call that went in our favor. Unfortunately, that's part of the game and we were happy to come out on top. The Braves played a great game, but we played a great game too." They wouldn't rub a bad call in the other team's face.

On TV they David Joe Torre and someone else was at the game. I gotta think that with this
Timetable they had to expedite the process |

Who's face are they rubbing it in? They're in their clubhouse. Who cares. |

A computer couldn't have made this call. | To be fair, clearly a human couldn't either. _________________

Who's face are they rubbing it in? They're in their clubhouse. Who cares. | You're seriously excusing that? They did this while the media was in the freaking locker room. They did this in front of media personnel.
This is a team that complains about the lack of class of everyone. TLR complained last year because the Brewers' broadcaster accused him of hitting Braun on purpose (which he admitted to doing a year later) on a Brewers broadcast.
I'll rephrase.
Hypocrites. Hypocrites all of them. _________________

Let'em celebrate, what's it to any of you? They won a playoff round, they go on while our Braves go home. They didn't screw themselves like the Braves did. Respect, Cards fans. Go and repeat. _________________

TLR isn't the manager. Mike Matheny is.

Get over it. | Next time you deluded group in the Cards thread think we hate your dirtbag baseball team because of their success, think of this. _________________
