Yeah, nothing personal, but I can't imagine he'll whine about having the top prospect in baseball blocked by a 5 WAR 24 year old SS when Justin Maxwell is hitting cleanup on opening day.

You don't know how much this sucks dude.

I realize in the grand scheme of things it shouldn't get to me this much but it does because I care way too much. That's what makes sports great, but also makes them blow.

Baseball for any diehard is a totally different animal, because you're sitting there 3 hours every night for 162 games watching your team. That's A LOT of baseball and time. You feel like you're part of the team.

When you spend EVERY DAY but two in 1st place, and end up choking and losing the division it hurts. It hurts a ton.

Then factor in how the last 2 seasons of gone for Rangers fans. There's only so much 1 fan base can take in 3 seasons.

So while you're right in that I'd rather win 93 games etc. than be Houston this isn't an ordinary situation where a team lost the Wild Card game. This has been 3 seasons running and right now I can't even think, my heads just buzzing with defeat, so sorry if some of these lines don't make sense.

Also, I am aware too that despite the endings the last 3 years, the Rangers have also given me and other Rangers fans plenty of awesome moments. I'm not that blind.

This entire post wasn't directed at anyone in particular either, just wanted to vent.

TL;DR being a diehard fan of a team whose broken your heart 3 straight seasons sucks. Sad

Half of those guys leaving is a good thing. Profar to 2B, Kinsler to the OF... Beltre/Andrus/Profar/Olt is the best IF in the game. Darvish will only get better and they could go after Greinke. They finished 1 game back of winning the West. Keeps ya head up Brah and go Suns Wink
