Game 1 Cueto v Cain
Game 2 Arroyo v Bumgarner
Game 3 Latos v Undecided
Who wins this series? Will SF ride along like 2010 with a somewhat decent offense and their flamethrowers, Or will Cincy finally take the next step and prove they are for real?[/img] _________________ Posted September 12th, 2012

I LOVE this match-up. The Giants are an experienced team and certainly have the pitching, but I really like this Reds team. This series could go the distance. _________________

Nope. I kind of liked the rule, even though it was mainly tailored for the Yankees and Red Sox. _________________

For some reason I want the Giants to beat Cincy, feels wrong... I just wanna see SF's pitching vs DC's lineup w/ Harper, Zimm, Mongoose, Laroche & Morse/Werth. _________________

As a Reds fan, i'm not overly optimistic because SF gets the first two games at home. That's going to make it very tough. If they fall behind 0-2, it's over. They needs to win 1 on the road to have a chance at home.
Reds in 5. Cueto takes game 1. Arroyo gets shelled game 2 (why is he pitching over Latos? Latos is more of a fly pitcher than Arroyo, and GABP is not a fly ball pitchers park).
I think the Reds beat up on Lincecum when he pitches (game 3 or 4), then Cueto brings home game 5.
Or that's what i hope anyway. _________________

Definitely worried about this series. I've been high on the Reds all year. _________________

During 2010 Postseason Cain did not allow an ER in 24 innings(atl, phi, tex) _________________ Posted September 12th, 2012

Should be a great series. We really need our pitching to come to the party if we want a chance. Bullpen especially, that's what has me worried.
Would love to see MVPosey carry us to another title. This is the first step. _________________

Good. Then he's due for a couple. _________________

Yeaaah. I love my Giants, but the freakish consistency and pitching that we were use too is no longer there. Luckily the offense is a little more potent but not enough to carry us past cinci. And as buck stated, the bullpen has had the worse decline in consistency and is a legitimate scare. _________________
