| Where is the production this year? I expected him to explode as a full time starter but he's only got about 1.5 sacks. Love him as an athlete but what gives LSU fans? |

Too much hype. He is a great athlete, but hasnt done much else to prove he's a great prospect. _________________ Kate Upton for sexy President!!!

It looked like he got into the backfield ok today, but couldn't finish. One of those guys that just worries about getting past his guy instead of having an eye for where the QB is... _________________

FLorida doesn't throw, this is a terrible game to judge him on... He's crazy athletic and his closing speed is downright scary. _________________

He was just another overated SEC prospect. He has great athleticism but not much else. Definitely not in his counterparts level. _________________

Same. He didn't get the stats but, he was still causing havoc in the backfield. _________________

He didn't have any trouble getting in the backfield but I don't know about causing havoc. Gators were pretty successful running to his side as well.
He definitely has the talent but needs better awareness... _________________

Pretty sure Aaron Maybe put up big time stats. You're simply comparing body types. _________________

Yeah, he's better than Maybin. But I would take his counterpart Montgomery over him ATM... _________________

| Thing about that Florida game is that when the Gators pulled a guard or TE to block him, he wouldn't stack the block and try to shed it. Rather he went low and tried to undercut the lineman. Is there a reason for this? Or is this LSU just wanting him to cancel out a lineman by going low on him |

I would too. I'm not defended Mingo I don't even like him as a prospect. I was just pointing out comparing Mingo to Maybin bases soley on production is completely off base. _________________

Gotcha. I heard someone throw out a MJ93 comparison before which I didn't like either. I would say he's a poor mans Aldon Smith if anything. If he can improve on his awareness and shedding/strength that could be his ceiling. But he's not close yet. He does have a better first step than Aldon so that might not be the best comparison either... _________________

He's not much of a run defender. Which is fine for now, but he will need to get bigger. He's ridiculously fast, some strength would be wooooooow. _________________
