On the bright side, this will at least silence all the nonsense Wes Welker trade talk. _________________

Really sucks for New England. Not saying their offense will falter bc of it, but having 2 TEs like that along with Welker and Lloyd was a sick 4some _________________

This means at least 4 weeks without him. Glad it wasn't season ending though. _________________

I see you and raise you a 14 team league where we only have 3 bench spots. I'm now going to actually have to carry two TE's... and my RB depth is already crap.
Yippie!
So... just trying to run the gauntlet of all the TE's the Pats have rostered... Ballard's still on the PUP isn't he? So he's out. Do any Pats fans think Hoomanawanui or Fells are actually going to see meaningful touches, or are they just going to be effectively kept as blockers and 'nando's touches get distributed among Welker and Gronk? _________________

Fells is still injured and Hoomanawanui was pretty awful as a blocker today. |

Shiancoe would be the guy to fill in, but he's on temporary IR. Ballard is on PUP and probably will be going straight to IR. Fells is just getting healthy and was questionable this week but inactive. Hoomas;ldfk;a isn't going to get any passes thrown his way.
In another interesting move, it seems that Edelman is above Welker on the depth chart right now. When the Pats played with 2 WRs, 2 TEs, and 1 RB, it was Edelman who got 13 of the 15 snaps opposite Lloyd, while Welker only had two. What Hernandez' injury probably does is put both Welker and Edelman on the field at the same time more often, with Fells (if he's healthy, Hooasdfpoiuckl otherwise) seeing the #2 TE snaps. _________________ Shut up, NBT |

Sucks.
Guess the Pats are lucky they signed an army of TEs this offseason. _________________
