haven't had a chance to really catch much of Carolina's stuff so far. How's he doing? _________________

I have loved what I have seen so far. He's solid at the point of attack and pulls very well. He has room for improvement, of course. But as a rookie in the phone booth I have been pleasantly surprised. _________________

Yeah, and its not to say that he doesn't get beat or make a mistake here and there, but for a rookie coming from Midwestern State, he's done as well as anyone could expect. _________________

I think there was either a screen or sweep by Deangelo where he was 20-30 yards down field rolling over guys. That made me smile. _________________

I remember that one. I actually thought DWill lost his patience there, if he could have cooled the jets a little he could have basically followed Amini to the end zone on that play.
+1 to all above, not the finished article, pro bowl standard by any means but solid and meeting expectations for his draft spot and time in the league. _________________ Still the only UK-based Panthers fan I know...hang on a minute...I might be the only one IN the UK! |

| I've been really impressed with him, Alexander, and Nortman. All playing very well for where they were drafted, in particular Nortman's been punting better than I've seen any Carolina punter punt here in a long time. Silatolu's been some mistakes from time to time but in general, I haven't called out his name much and when I have, it is to praise him for a great block in the run game. He was outstanding against the Saints. |
