It's not just media hype, ND's schedule is one of, if not the, toughest in the country. If we go unbeaten through it, there's no reason we shouldn't be playing for the national championship game. |
That schedule this year is insane. Tougher than any SEC team this year. _________________

Nobody in the SEC beat Auburn that year either... |

Lol, exactly. It was a three point game.
But yeah, the 2012 Ducks aren't the same team as the 2010 Ducks so it's irrelevant. _________________

Let's not play like that game was as close as the scoreboard made it seem though....even without that Dyer run Auburn was going to win that. _________________

I don't think it's any tougher than the Big XII schedule. _________________ Geno Smith, Tavon Austin, Stedman Bailey, and Bruce Irvin will all have at least 1 pro bowl season each by the end of the decade.

Are you on crack. ND played 2 overrated Big Ten teams. They have 3 tough games this year. OU, Stanford and USC and as we have seen, they all have weaknesses. Dont even get me started on their ACC games. BC, Pitt, Wake.... lol.
Compared to prior years maybe its a tough schedule but I don't see any marquee games for ND this year with how much their opponents have slipped up _________________

USC is a top 12 team
Oklahoma top 15
Stanford top 20
Michigan top 25 (and if by "slipping up" you mean losing to #1 and #7 teams in nation, sure)
MSU is a solid 5th or 6th level opponent (with losses to two top 15 teams).
Purdue is a decent middle of road opponent
BYU is a decent middle level opponent
BC
Wake
Pitt
Navy
are all lower level opponents, but all from AQ conferences except Navy who is independent.
Obviously it doesn't have a top 5 type opponent (though USC could easily get there by the time they play each other) and the low points of the schedule are low, but you are under selling the schedule quite a bit.
Not sure it is the toughest schedule, but it is definitely a tough schedule. _________________

If we can get through Stanford and BYU undefeated, we should (key word: should) win at least 10 games, making year three for BK a huge success. |

If ND wins 10 games this year they're going to a BCS bowl.
They may even if they win 9. _________________

If they win 9 they wont.
Looking like:
2 SEC
2 Big 12
2 Pac 12
1 Big Ten
1 ACC
1 Big East
1 TBD
