So.... turns out the whole UFC in Japan idea turned out to be the best thing ever.

That exchange where they held and and hit each other reminded me if Frye vs Takayama. Crazy.

Great fight! Actually a pretty good last two fights. Wanderlei is amazing. Lemme rephrase that...amazingly exciting to watch. I hope he can continue winning some more fights in exciting fashion. It will be a sad day when he hangs it up. I like him at LHW a lot more than MW. Same can be said for Stann. Brian Stann showed a lot tonight too. I didn't think he was that good early in his career, but he appears to have all the necessary tools to compete in both LHW and MW divisions.

Mark Hunt...lulzy interviews. I love when he does that, but I'd be kinda mad if I were a commentator being made to look like a jackass Smile

GSP is gonna kill Diaz.

Out of context this looks bad.

But if you know he just got kicked in the balls it's ok.

Yeah but it's way way funnier out of context.

Huge respect for Stann. That guy can throw down.

Wanderlei is scary in Japan. I'd love to see another Hendo v Wanderlei at 205 next.

I d like to see that too, but Vitor Wandy II is far overdue.

Just had to pop in and say that was an EPIC 5 minutes. How often do we get treated to two fighters moving forward and swinging for the fence like theyre in a schoolyard fighting over a girl? What a damn treat!

It honestly reminded me of the early days and fighters like Pat Smith, Paul Varlens, Kimo and Tank Abbot. Back when fools just got rushed.

I came in here several months ago and called GSp v Diaz in his comeback fight... Got laughed at. It had to happen, GSP will try implementing the same gameplay as Condit which will prove to be a mistake the 2nd time around. Diaz with the upset.

If I was betting on the fight, I'm taking GSP by decision.

But that's not the point. The whole fight week is a pure spectacle when Diaz is involved. Factor into that, that GSP hates Nick Diaz and we've never seen a GSP that's fighting someone he genuinely dislikes.

ITS GONNA BE CRAZYYYYYYYYYYYYYYY.

HUNTO-SAN. LMAO @ those guard passes, what a boss.

Thought Gomi got robbed. Stunning that he looked so much sharper than his usual lazy drunken self (still too many wild loopers for my liking). Used jabs, moved his head, wasn't afraid of takedowns by a bigger fighter. That was as close as oldschool Gomi as we'll see I thinks.

Not much more to add to the Stann Silva fight. Too bad it didn't go longer I guess. Instant classic.

BTW, who else said a giant EFF YOU to Greg Jackson when he told Sanchez he won the round because it was 4 takedown to none?
