Be happy for what you accomplished. You were picked to lose 100 games. Next year should be easier, your going to have the Astros in your division. |
Completely forgot the Astros were moving to the AL
Who do the Tigers fans here want to see in the ALCS? |
Balt and not even close. _________________

This, but we own the Yankees in postseason, so either is fine with me. _________________

It was a strike solely based on the fact that it was a strike. Inside corner, 3/4 up the zone. It was perfect. The only thing that pitch had to do with Reddick's hands was that he got handcuffed by a perfect pitch. Tried to crowd the zone because of the outside calls, got jammed up. |
Exactly. The hand argument is dumb! His hands were over the plate. Poor on him |
He was standing over the plate because the umps strikezone extended into the other batter's box. _________________ (MLB)=A's, (NFL)=Raiders, (NBA)= Warriors

This is true. That doesn't make the inside call bad, it just makes every single one of those outside calls bad. And they were bad... both ways. Verlander just kept putting the ball in the exact same place and getting that bad call more often. _________________

What about the offense scoring zero runs in game 3? Valverde messed up yes but cmon closers don't save every single game unless they are Rivera.
Go Baltimore! I want to crush the hopes and dreams of these upstart teams! |

A's were on the brink. Sanchez was awesome, but it's near impossible to sweep a team like them especially when they're at home. Valverde was HUGE in losing us game four. _________________

People can whine, moan, complain or whatever about strike zone but ump was CONSISTENT ALL NIGHT. Difference is Oak pitchers WERE NOT GOOD enough to consistently paint the edge. When they did they got the same call.

Already said I was wrong about Leyland being stubborn. It almost cost Detroit division too. Detroit would have walked away with central if a defensive 3b and Cabby/Fielder rotating 1B/DH.
Almost cost them this series too.
So Leyland dodged bullet so far _________________

Have you ever thought of sprinkling words such as "the" into your sentences? You give the impression of being a robot when you post. _________________

I had the A's as one of the worst teams heading into the year. I agree, major props to them on a heck of a year. They should hold their heads high for taking the division which no one thought they would come close to. They fell a little short but it was a fantastic year for them. _________________
