Now that they have entered their third seasons, I'm wondering who you guys see as the better player right now and going forward.
Demaryius Thomas career stats:
75 rec, 1,159 yards, 8 TDs
Dez Bryant career stats:
129 rec, 1,758 yards, 15 TDs
While the stats certainly favor Dez, I think this is much closer than many will give it credit for. Thomas barely played his first season and then had been injured after that, however since he's been healthy he's been good. He also had the privilege (handicap?) of playing with Tebow. Dez has been on a much more traditional offense in his time in the league, and has had the luxury of a much better QB. He has had a nose for the end zone in his two full seasons.
So what do you all think? Is it closer than it seems? _________________

My answer is the same as the last time you asked. Dez is a talented WR who is lazy, has poor routes, lacks focus and dmdoesnt know the Playbook. Yet he still outproduces DT... and has had his own share of injuries _________________

Dez is more talented but I'd take Thomas going forward.
Dez should be a top three wide-out but mentally he's disappointing. Only two 100 yard games in his career? (one was last week) I was shocked when I heard that stat. _________________ 44 and 21 Once a Giant, always a Giant

Demaryius Thomas, since he is a steelers killer and Dez Bryant is a big headache for the cowboys(drop, bad routes,off-field issues...) _________________

Dez Brynt is so good he makes you wanna slap yo mama..
Honestly it's DT.. I was a huge Dez supporter! But there is no way
you can support such a bad person. It's all bad with him. At least I'll
know DT will be there 100% giving it his all. Dez = Headaches. _________________

| I've been a HUGE Dez Bryant supporter but I'm losing patience. He has a good work ethic but needs to refine his route-running and stop losing concentration. That being said, I'd still take Dez easily. |

I'd take Thomas only b/c he isn't a head case like Bryant. Otherwise, I think Bryant is better. _________________

Pretty much, Bryant is probably the better football player when he is focused, but that is probably rarely the case.
Id rather have Thomas on my team. |

| Dez is a more talented player but his issues on top of the fact Peyton is getting more comfortable with the Denver offense, DT should have a career year. |

Bryant's more well rounded, but Thomas is more dangerous IMO. _________________

I'd easily take Demaryius Thomas. Both are athletic and big. Bryant has better natural receiver skills at this point, but Thomas is the better athlete and has the better head on his shoulders.
Bryant is probably the type that will continue to get into trouble and be suspended a couple times. In another 5 years, he's probably featuring one of our "What Happened to..." segments. Thomas should at least have elite QB play for 2-3 years and the Broncos will also have time to develop the QB they took in the 2nd round (Osweiller?) as well as opportunities to go with other QBs in the future. So Thomas should at worse be a above average #1 and at best could be a top 5 WR.
This question is one of potential... and I have more reason to believe that Thomas can actually stick around long enough in this league to fulfill his. _________________

| I'll take the good receiver over the second coming of Koren Robinson. |

DT for me. Bryant just doesn't have that "it" factor to be an elite WR. _________________
