| Cards in four. Nationals are young, lack playoff experience. Cards have experience, they score runs in bunches no matter who is pitching and their bullpen is excellent. |

Cards pitching is dangerous too. Carp, and Wainwright ready to go. I have Cards in 4. _________________

It'll be overblown. The Nats, especially in the 2nd half, don't lose due to starting pitching but instead due to dead bats. _________________

Next year would be 2-2-1 with the Nats getting 1-2-5 at home. _________________

Just to piggy back for more explanation.
The schedule was made before the change to the playoff rules. Adding the extra WC game was only possible by eliminating a travel day during the division series matchup. So it had to be 2-3 to make sure each team got at least one home game. _________________

Or MLB could have just started the season a day or two earlier. Common sense fail |

The schedule was already out. Which meant plans for the stadiums use already started. You can't alter the schedule once realeased. _________________

I don't like rooting for an NL East team, but I hate the Cardinals more than I hate the Nationals. I think Washington wins this in 5. _________________
