What?
It's early, but after being 48-48, it's a complete landslide right now. |

Davis for me again. Guy is an elite WR option. He's done it 3+ years running now and as good as he is as a WR, he's just as good as a blocker. Graham is the best WR TE in the league right now but he's behind Gronky and VD because he's one dimensional. _________________

Davis every time. Graham is a terrific receiver but Davis is the complete package and I'm not convinced Davis wouldn't put up comparable receiving numbers in the Saints' system. _________________

It seems like Davis is sucking up all the votes that went to tight ends such as Aaron Hernandez |

I don't know where this Graham can't block thing is coming from. Grahams more than fine in the blocking department, I feel like just because he's an incredible receiver and an athlete people assume he can't block. He's made HUGE strides since his rookie year and he's MUCH better than Vernon Davis in terms of receiving. _________________

As for receiving, Davis as produced elite numbers in a run first and conservative offense. Graham has put up one elite receiving season in a pass happy offense with a top 3 QB. The type of offense is a HUGE difference. _________________

You can get great run blocking from subbing in some scrub tight end
Graham is an all time great weapon at his position. The importance of grhams advantage as a receiver blows away davis s value as a blocker _________________

I'm saying tie. I honestly can't decide on this one.
I think they're equally talented, just different.
Graham is the better receiver.
Davis is the better blocker.
Davis is also a great receiver, and Graham is a fine blocker. Neither has a glaring advantage.
If I had to choose between them for my own team I'd say Graham. He can isolate outwide and just dominate. I've always valued the pass more than the run though, so that's just me.
Gronk is clearly the best, I think either of these guys could be #2 on any given play. |

Considering this is Grahams 3rd season, I'd say its pretty impressive that he put up an ALL-TIME great season. It was arguably the 2nd best season ever for a TE, behind Gronkowskis season last year. Vernon Davis has never surpassed 1000 yards and only surpassed 10 TDs once, Jimmy Graham is in his 4th year of FOOTBALL period, College and the NFL and he has done both of those things the same amount of time. Jimmy Graham is a much better receiver than Vernon Davis, much better. It has nothing to do with the offenses either, watch both play. Graham is uncoverable, literally uncoverable. _________________
