if a bye week prepared this team the way we saw in the first half, I am not sure I want to watch what a shortened week will cause.

I can see the Steelers driving fairly effectively against the Titans for the most part. My main question is how well does the banged-up Steelers D play in the all-important 4th quarter? Can they maintain vigilance and energy for 4 quarters, or not? Timmons was the best player on D this past week, does he become a consistent force on D like two years ago? Does Harrison come further up to speed. And how does the team compensate for Polamalu becoming a rather frequent visitor to the injured list?

We always play down to our competition. I think we will win on the final drive. I think Raiders and Titans are comparable in talent, but we won't make the same mistake. We will find a way to win. Seems like we never do well on short weeks against mediocre teams. My guess is: Steelers 17 Titans 14

It's a road game, on a short week. They are coming off a bad road loss. I hate thursday night games with a passion. We're not healthy on D. I expect us to win, but this will be a chippy, bitter fight to the finish unless we stomp on CJ and their blocking scheme. I think they run a zone blocking scheme but I am not sure.

Hasseltrash may very well be the worst QB in football.

I'm very pissed with Locker for not being a man and playing through this shoulder injury when his team needs him the most.

Titans defense has played better the past two weeks, but Hasseltrash's ineptitude gives them no rest so it's irrelevant anyway.

Steelers by 35 or so.
