Good,Bad and ugly for your team(week 5)

The Good: Defense, stymied a very good Steelers offense

The Bad: Michael Vick, had a very costly fumble early on and appeared careless in the first half. Avoided "ugly" with a few very good throws and clearly stepping up in the 2nd half.

The Ugly: Offensive Line, got embarrassed all day and allowed Vick hardly any time.

the good - briggs and tillman, back-to-back interception touchdown return weeks.

the bad - gabe carimi's pass pro, he's my favourite on the bear's line, but he's the only one who did anything wrong yesterday - his run blocking was excellent, but his pass pro was bad.

the ugly - brian urlacher....he's just not a very handsome chap.

Good- The entire offense and defense for the most part

Bad- STs as our coverage units are allowing so big returns even though the TD came back due to a holding penalty

Ugly- Nothing aside for Alex Smith spraining a finger on his throwing hand

Good: Rams defense and special teams
Bad: Rams OL
Ugly: Darian Stewart's hit on Ryan Williams, Danny's injury, Bradford and the WRs

Good: Bryan anger punted pretty well again.
Bad: Doesn't apply
Ugly: The rest of the Jaguars team.

For the Pats:

Good: Balanced offense, front 7 on D, Alfonso Dennard looks promising

Bad: McCourty never turning to face the ball, chung taking terrible angles, took foot off the pedal in the 4th and gave up some easy points

Ugly: A 4th and 5 play that couldn't have gone any worse Laughing

For the Falcons:

Good: Defense- besides giving up a long TD to blown coverage we were pretty good. Morris got a bunch of yards but it ended up with the Skins getting 10 points and a missed FG besides the one blown coverage with some forced TOs as well. Also Tony Gonzalez was incredible with 10+ catches, 100 + yards, and career TD #99.

Bad: Start of the game- it was pathetic Joe bad our offense looked at the beginning of the game. We got going later in the game but we had to work late in the game for the win.

Ugly: if I had to pick something here I would say the pick Matt Ryan threw to Ryan Kerrigan.

Honorable Mention: Mike Munchak for calling 3 timeouts under 2 minutes to extend a game that we're down 23

Good: Tony Gonzalez-He continues to produce at such a high level.
Bad: Defense. We settled down later in the game but were gashed early on by Alfred Morris.
Ugly: Any injury from the game. No Falcons were injured, but RG3's hit looked vicious. Hope he's ok.

Panthers:

Good: The defense. Played with intensity, kept the team in the game despite the complete lack of offensive production.

Bad: Steve Smith looked slow out there. Real slow.

Ugly: The playcalling. We have a mountain of money invested in our backfield. 4 plays from the goal line, one run for negative yardage.

Good…Brandon Marshall showing Bears fans of all ages what a #1 WR looks like…the running game averaging 6.4 YPC…Jay Cutler’s play in the 2nd half…J’Marcus Webb having a clean game…Corey Wootton showing why he was once considered a 1st round pick…Opportunistic D continuing to lead the league in takeaways & defensive TDs…Briggs & Tillman taking back defensive TDs for the 2nd game in a row…Balanced play calling on both sides of the ball…over 500 total yards of offence…under 200 total yards allowed on defence…

Bad…Slow start to the game only really picking up in the 2nd half…Jay Cutler’s play in the 1st half…Alshon's injury...Gabe Carimi’s penalties & sack allowed…the Dline not being as effective rushing the passer in the Jacksonville heat of the 1st half…Hester’s punt & kickoff returns…

Ugly…Watching one of the greatest LBs of all time struggle to overcome injury.

For Carolina:

Good: Luke K looked much better at MLB than he did at OLB. A Kealoha Pilares sighting on offense. Next week is a bye!

Bad: The running game, offensive play-calling (very bloody offensive if you ask me)

Ugly: All the fundamentals: Passing, catching, fumbling, tackling, assignments, game planning, blocking.

Good: Defense played lights out.

Bad: Ponder didn't have a terrible game but two picks isn't great, first two of the year though, and could have had another pick.

Ugly: Harrison Smith getting ejected.
