How much will it cost to trade for this guy? The dolphin fans want to trade him and think we can get him for 1 round 1. I think we should do it call them now! _________________

| Why is this even a dicussion? Unless the Dolphins have said directly they are shopping him and the Cardinals have been quoted as having interest.. seriously, what's the point of this? |

I'd trade for him if I thought we could re-sign him. I'm not sure we can. Money's tight. _________________

By that same token I don't want to give a LT 12 million a year if our QB is going to be running for his life anyway as teams continue to create pressure up the middle. _________________ Patrick Peterson - 92 targets, 40 catches allowed, 602 yards, 6 TD's, 7 INT's

This and it's a shame since a lot of our money is tied up in players aren't contributing enough.
The fact that we have Levi Brown, Adam Snyder, Stewart Bradley (did take 1 year paycut), Todd Heap, and Kevin Kolb making millions but not contributing due to injury and/or poor play is killing me inside.
While resigning D-Wash and Campbell and others have been great, I won't fully applaude our FO. They've made some big multi-million dollar deals that haven't panned out too.
Hindsight is 20/20 but I just hope some of our mid-range signings actually pan out in the future. |

Eh, not really. Every player on this list besides Snyder can be cut tomorrow with 0 cap ramifications and even with Snyder, the cap hit is more than managable. Not much is tied up there at all, IF we choose to go away from those guys.
The question is will we go away from those guys (Though that's a separate conversation altogether). _________________

I am sure calls have been made to the Fins and his agent.
No one doesnt do due diligence on deals of this side first.
Really, we dont have the space for him.
Unless we cut SB, LB and the KK.
So we get the LT we want, costs us a bucket, stuck with Skelton and Lindley (maybe good idea, who knows) and we try to fill holes in rounds 2 - 7, assuming, it only costs a 1st. |

Cutting Kolb, Levi, Bradley and Snyder after the season is saving nearly 100M over the next 4 years. Let that sink in for a bit... So wait until the offseason and sign Long if he hits FA. Use the 1st or 2nd rounder to replace Snyder. Keep developing Potter for depth at Tackle. _________________

Word on the street is they'd slide Jonathan Martin over to LT.
I would advise again that personally but what do I know? _________________
