Faulk was originally drafted in the 2nd round of the 1999 draft out of LSU by the Patriots, he went on to establish himself as one of the best 3rd down backs in the league with elite pass blocking and receiving skills out of the backfield.
He spent 13 seasons with the Patriots, recording 3,607 yards rushing on 864 carries [4.2 average] and 3,701 receiving yards on 431 catches and a total of 33 touchdowns.
Faulk won SuperBowl XXXVI, SuperBowl XXXVIII and SuperBowl XXXIX with the Patriots.

This, and it's not even close. The dude always picked up the first it seemed like. Such a pesky annoying player. (As an opposing team's fan). _________________

"Pure 3rd down back" is pretty far down the totem pole, no? _________________

One cool thing about Kevin was his career trajectory - went from being the #2 high school recruit in the entire country, to a legend and record-setter at LSU, to... the ultimate role player. Did it all in his career. _________________

Easily the best 3rd down back ever imo. It was always extremely stressful watching him slip out of the backfield and pick up huge first down after huge first down twice a year. _________________

Sad day. Last night Danny Woodhead converted 2 long third downs, one on a catch out the backfield and one a draw play on 3rd-17. Both times I thought "that's a Kevin Faulk play." _________________

He was fine player. Money on 3rd down. I never had a problem with him, even though I'm sure alot of non-Patriots fans don't like him at all for how hard it was to stop him.
Hope he enjoys retirement. _________________

Harmon says hello. |
As a Bills fan Harmon can say goodbye.
| Quote: | | Harmon played four seasons with the Buffalo Bills. In his final game with Buffalo, a 1989 AFC Divisional Playoff game at the Cleveland Browns, Harmon dropped a potential game-winning touchdown pass from Jim Kelly with :09 left in the fourth quarter. |
