Combined that with a stone wall offensive line...
You gambled Ken and you lost big. This is on you. |
What? How in the hell is this on Whiz? Williams was a completely sound back when we drafted him. |
Can't really say he was a sound pick. He was coming off a injury prone 3rd year suffering the same ham string injury 3 times and when healthy he was under preforming and was bench for David Wilson. |
LOL, I state again, he missed 4 games in 3 years.
If 10 touchdowns is unproductive, sign me up any day. _________________

Would rather ride William Powell or Alphonso Smith. _________________ Patrick Peterson - 92 targets, 40 catches allowed, 602 yards, 6 TD's, 7 INT's

I like Chris Ivory from the Saints. Thought he looked good when he does get to run. _________________

Can't really count the first year as he was red shirting. More like 4 games in 2 years. Does not change the fact the VT was moving on to David Wilson as th starter _________________

I did. But i thought it was just that a vicious hit.
Sad to see injuries settling in for teams. _________________

Gotta wonder if we don't just move on from Williams entirely. Not much invested there, 2 years of waste developmental time. This might be the end of a pretty unfortunate road for the kid. What makes it worse is that he's a damn good kid. Extremely passionate about the game, kind of kid you want to see make it.
I'm all for Ivory. _________________

Moving to Wilson huh? Funny way of showing it. Wilson had just 2 more carries and 5 more catches in 2010 than Williams did and that's with Williams missing the 4 games. _________________

Agree to disagree Champ. The point I was making too was that we had Hightower and Beanie at the time. We needed offensive line help and pass rushing help.
Just saying that a RB at that time was dumb.
What would it take to get Ivory? _________________

Another quick question, Powell left the game the other night at half?
Why haven't we talked about this? _________________

1 - Yet preseason last year we were all praising our decision to take him becasuse he looked like a gamebreaker. If we got that gamebreaker nobody would care.
2 - It should not take too much he has not played in a game this year for the Saints and is listed as fourth on their DC. _________________ Patrick Peterson - 92 targets, 40 catches allowed, 602 yards, 6 TD's, 7 INT's

Any chance we kick around some trade ideas for a certain disgruntled back from Jacksonville?
The logistics probably won't work - just asking for the fun of it. |

Just as I did on draft day I would AGREE. My point now is completely separate to this, however. Whether we should have stuck with Hightower and/or gone with a different player at 38 has nothing to do with Williams getting hurt again. _________________
