Care to interpret the tone of that one for us by color, sir? _________________

I sense much anger... followed by a sudden shift to cold indifference then finally to pure unadulterated sadness. _________________

Man.. It's an unwritten rule.. But yes like I stated before..
Such a terrible injury to a good player. Every year the Texans
get snake bitten. Here's to a healthy Schaub and Foster.
The Texans cannot afford a loss to their QB. _________________

Does this mean Cushing overcame his tumor at least? _________________

what about player safety? Does it only apply to QB's and "skilled " positions? NFL are hypocrites. They flag/ fine a player for a hit on a qb, but then this is allowed which results in a player gone for the season? What a joke |
I absolutely despise cut blocking. |

Yeah, I'm not fond of Cushing at all, predraft or now, but to see him tear his ACL on a pretty cheap play, iirc, hurts your heart a little bit. He was walking himself off the field into the locker room, too. |
I know, I guess I don't understand ACL tears that well seeing as I completely dismissed that possibility seeing him walk like that, with only a slight limp. The guy is tough.
Sucks for the Texans, huge loss. |
It could be partially torn. But at the same time that may not be the case because last year when Terrell Thomas tore his ACL he didnt require a cart, he was able to walk off the field and into the locker room. |
You can walk on a torn ACL. Heck, Rivers played on one as have players in the past such as Chapman. It just would be next to impossible for a guy at his position to play on it because he wouldn't be able to change direction. |

I'm never too fond of players who have ever been implicated with PEDs, but still sucks to see this. | Ryans had absolutely no place on that defense. No matter what just happened to Cush, there is no way they regret that trade. They got a nice draft pick for a player that they had no need for. Not likt they could pay him to just sit on the bench and wait for an injury. Not with the coin he was making. That's bad business. Sucks what happened to Cush but hindsight is 20/20 and they 100% made the right call on the Meco trade. _________________

Steroids weaken his body. Sucks that he suffers this injury, but now his recovery road will be much harder than it would have been for a clean player. He's a solid player for that D, so this loss hurts them. _________________

3 years ago... Rusk, you are better than that.
Anyway, it is certainly going to really hurt them. You saw what they were like without him in there. Meco, just didn't fit in the defense anymore for the money. I'd like to see Mercy and Braman get boosts in PT. I just hope Braman doesn't over pursue too much. _________________

A) Steroids don't "weaken" anyone's body. The "added ability" of muscles to rapidly increase their load capacity puts a massive strain on the ligaments and tendons in joints, decreasing their elasticity over extended periods of time.
B) If he's still juicing as you and others seem wont to insinuate, his recovery time will be short and he will be playing at full force next offseason.
C) He's, at worst, the 3rd best inside linebacker in the league. _________________ Welcome to Houston, DeAndre Hopkins! |
