No DPOTW? Odd. Reggie Wayne was a no brainer, what a performance. Glad someone offered me Reggie Wayne and Stevan Ridley for Brandon Marshall after week 1

Given these last two weeks of awards I can only assume they secretly instituted a rule that Watt is no longer eligible because it would be unfair to everyone else.

It really seems that way... Starks had a pretty average week as far as defensive player of the week goes.
Starks: 3 tackles, 0.5 sacks, INT.
Watt: 6 tackles, 1 sack, 3 passes defended.

Sacks don't tell the whole story though. Starks was a beast against us on Sunday. And his INT was JJ Watt-esque.
I'd say it's deserved but Watt should have at least 3 of these awards already...

The only one where I haven't had a qualm with who it was awarded to was when they gave it to Michael Johnson.
And, well, that's kind of a lie, because I thought it should have gone to Carlos Dunlap that week.

What about Von Miller? 2 sacks, 3 stuffs, 2 QB hits, 1 FF, 1 PD. Seriously how did he not win? This is a tad ridiculous.
I wouldn't be mad if JJ Watt won because he forced 2 INTs.

I think this is further evidence that those in the voter's circle put a heavy premium on wins. D'Quell Jackson had a performance a few weeks back that could of very well overshadowed Watt in W2, but the Texans won and the Browns didn't.
Can anyone tell me the last time a player won POW awards in a losing effort?

Both DE's had an argument for getting the DPOTW award that week. MJ93 had the benefit of playing the majority of the game against the Skins backup LT. Can't fault him for lucking out...
