A game that could really build some confidence.....
Defense actually looked like they belong in the NFL.
Get Britt's mind back in the game, get a healthy Locker.....we might have something.. _________________ "I'm not locked in here with you. You locked in here with ME!" |

Anyone know what happened to jurrell Casey?? I don't think I saw him playing at all in the second half. _________________

CJ 19/91 4.8ypc... pretty good.
Britt looks to be coming around.
Locker needs to come back. Hass has moments but likes to toss to the defense too often.
D looked not so bad tonight.
Titans played with some fire out there. Maybe the Viking loss was the bottom of the barrel. _________________ Fire everyone! |

| Want to give some props to Hass..he had the one pick, but after two trash performances he actually came out and played nice. Had a lot of drops on top of it, but never gave up. |

O-Line deserves some credit. They opened holes tonight and were solid in protection. _________________

| This was such a big win. Losing would of had us at 1-5 and looking at a top 5 draft pick. But with us winning, we're 2-4 and could make a potential playoff push if we play as well as we did today. |

They did... CJ left some yards out there with his hesitation but glad he ran the way he did.. _________________ "I'm not locked in here with you. You locked in here with ME!" |

In 2002, a struggling 1-4 Tennessee Titans team hosted a 3-1 Jacksonville Jaguar team, the Titans were coming off being blown out two straight weeks in a row, and the Titans knocked them off 23-14, despite being given no shot by anyone else.
The Titans never looked back and went 10-1 to end the year, and wound up going to the AFC Championship game.
Just saying...

....or worse we finish 8-8 with a massive second half surge. urgh.
Guessing surprise 24-23 win, based off a steady Hasselbeck game - 50 pass attempts, Harper our leading rusher and Kluuuuuuuuug finishing off R-berger a couple times after he avoids being taken down for 30 seconds multiple times. |
Somehow... We always (9/10 times) play well in prime time... Long term don't think it changes much this year, but with a better QB I think our skill players are better utilized and our line doesn't look so bad. Just don't think the "franchise QB" is on our roster at this point |

One of the most gratifying victories in a LONG time. Only person in my office pool to pick the Titans! Can't wait for work in the AM, and that's obviously not something I say often, haha.

06 and 09 come to mind too. Those two seasons didn't end up in playoffs but after terrible starts to those years, they ended the season as respectable teams.
Titans have finally made it through the roughest patch of the schedule. Lets see if they have learned from last year how to win the games they're supposed to. |
