Hopefully they are good enough to warrant some action, and then they show something on the field. Rather than just warm corpses to toss out there like most of our FA in-season adds so far. |

For some reason, i want to believe we used the bye week to improve our running game, our pass rush and our coverage and we can compete against a very good Falcons team. Wishful thinking i guess. _________________

We just dont have the personnel to contain all their targets. Everyone is talking about Jones, White and Gonzo- which none of our players are suited to contain, but I'm worried about whats gonna happen when all our DBs and LBs are covering those guys. We have been getting murdered by RBs catching passes out of the backfield. Quizz is going to do a lot of damage IMO.
If we are to stand a chance, McFadden needs to roll, and I mean go absolutely crazy. We need big runs for quick scores and effective, drive-sustaining runs in order to limit their offense's opportunities. _________________

I have a good feeling about this game. Don't think we're going to get the win by any means, but I think we're going to see improvement and not get blown out.
My better judgement says we'll still get blown out anyway. _________________ Bah-Weep-Granah-Weep-Nini-Bong

Pretty much this, and it's why I just don't see us having any kind of shot at keeping this close. Last season our offense would have kept us in a game like this and it probably would have ended up something like 38-28, but the offense this year has shown absolutely nothing to suggest it can even come close to hanging with a team like Atlanta.
I'd love to be proven wrong. _________________

+1
Give me our 2011 offense (Palmer's interceptions and all) plus a healthy McFadden. Hell, even our 2011 offense without McFadden would be a huge improvement from what we have seen most of the season so far. _________________

If Matt Ryan is doing most of his damage throwing to RB's, that will be a win in my book. But that won't be the case unless the Raiders play ultra conservative. _________________

I dont see him doing most of his damage that way, I'm just saying thats another thing we have to worry about on top of White, Jones and Gonzalez. _________________

see.... caught up on current events just to appease you and your boo wooo
i actually think it is brainless to talk of not having a chance, then why play?
so what if we get punked down and beat down. still gonna play the game, save you trash mouth for 4 on sunday when you can run it again and say
told you so....relax on your stupidity to respond and breathe man, jus breathe baby boy |
And the Skins and Panthers are still better than us. And while you mock it, it is much better than using previous seasons to directly correlate their progress thus far this season.
Why play? Well, sorry, let me be 100% literal here: We DO have a chance albeit the odds are extremely against us and that's be modest.
Who's talking trash either? It's a stellar team going up against one of the worst teams in the league and us going to there place when we've had MAJOR issues going east in recent years. And no, that's not hypocritical of what I said above as it is a current trend that has been prominent not only this year but many others. _________________

The Realist says: I hope no one gets hurt in this mess.
The Fan says: We got this!!
either way you go, your an idiot to some i you have confidence in your team, but if you don't and you say it, your not a fan.
I don't think we have much of a shot at this one. But I do hope we win. _________________
