LBJ might be the greatest athlete of all time. It's not close to me. _________________

| It's Lebron. Randy isn't playing anything except WR. |

Randy Moss, faster and more agile not to mention his athletic ability should not even be possible with his length. The guy is a true freak. Maybe I am impartial because I am more into the NFL, but Moss stands out MUCH more than Lebron does. I bet money Randy can do a lot of the things Lebron can in regards to basketball, short of the physical toughness that is. _________________

I'll tell you right now I'm probably the biggest Moss fan ever, but he definitely did not have the agility of Barry Sanders. That's a hyperbole to the 9th degree. Randy was one of the fastest players ever, but nobody had Barry's quickness. |
no NBT is....mosses mother doesnt love him as much as this guy. its just sad. _________________

Love watching the superfreak play football! A duh!
LBJ is a beast, he is my boy. But Moss could have
-been an olympic medaling sprinter (Michael Johnsons track coach called Moss the fastest human he has ever seen)
-dominated the NBA (he won WV's mr. basketball twice, called best player they had seen since Jerry West, Shaq and Kobe have both said this)
-Played professional baseball (he was an all state center fielder)
-Play professional soccer
or, in the NFL
-been a punter (hs reportedly kicked 50+ punts in practice regularly)
-played cornerback (played this in high school, again, dominated)
-played quarterback (Moss has a CANNON of arm)
or...dominate at wide receiver. _________________

I wouldn't say that. Most of which he says is true. Randy was an incredible center fielder in baseball, there are people that said "he could be an Olympic sprinter, he's that fast", and he was more dominant in basketball than his teammate Jason Williams (although I wouldn't say better).
I'm not sure about Quarterback, but he certainly was pretty decent doing so on trick plays. I've heard the punting stories, but who knows how good he would have been in a game time situation? I definitely think he could have been a corner.
Lebron is a freak, but I distinctly remember D-Wade saying Westbrook was the most athletic player in the league. This poll wouldn't be so lopsided if Moss was in his prime, I think... _________________

everything that is could have might be fact but there is no way to know. ya he could have dominated the nba but could easily have been a huge bust. no way to know. he could have played professional baseball but again no way to know, same with soccer. _________________

Ahh more LeBron jock riding. ESPN has infiltrated the minds of the impressionable youth and it's way to a football forum. Hype anything long enough and everyone will believe it. I even remember in a Calvin Johnson vs LeBron thread some member with a couple thousand posts said that LeBron had like a sub 4.5 forty and had like a 50+ inch vertical, along with other traits like the 'most agile' blah blah blah ever. A few other respected members bought it too. Oh the ignorance was strong in that one.
LeBron is quite the athlete, but so are guys like Howard and Durant. They fall in the same category in terms of athletic ability. Watch the video of Dwight Howard running the relay with Desean and co. LeBron was not superior to that.
Also, Moss' athletic ability in his prime was relative to LeBron's. _________________

LeBron had been playing for nearly 10 years now and has not only taken a lot of beating, he's packed on more muscle each year as he's eventually going to transition to a PF. Right now, Westbrook is more explosive then LeBron. But I don't think the question is about right now. LeBron in Cleveland was clearly far above Westbrook, especially considering his size. Everyone talks about Moss' basketball ability (which is vastly overrated, he probably would've been in the NBA but never would've been close to a superstar) but forgot to mention that LeBron was just as big a monster at football. LeBron probably had a far better chance at being an NFL superstar then Moss being an NBA one.
Moss was clearly faster, and more agile. But when you think of what LeBron has been able to/can do at his size is on an entirely different level. At 6'8 270 he's arguably the fastest straight line player in the NBA, is easily one of the most powerful players, and boasts an unreal vertical. Not to mention LeBron can play 4 positions both ways full time, and could play the 5 both ways depending on the opponent. You will see another Randy Moss before you see another LeBron James. _________________ Not removing until:

Durant isn't on the same planet as LeBron in terms of being an athlete, get real. Howard is a special athlete though. _________________ Not removing until:
