The Texans. The Falcons need to draft a RB. Turner is still fairly difficult to bring down, but he's lost about every other aspect of his game.

I thought about it, but just couldn't put Bradshaw in w/ the other RBs. Turner was kind of stretch as it was.

But you could put Alex Smith?

Exactly, Alex Smith prior to today has played like a top 10 QB this year.

Not at all. I can name numerous Quarterbacks that have played better.

Smith came into today w/ 8 TDs 1 INT, 1087 yds. Name 10 QBs who have played better so far this year.

I don't think you have watched him play much this season. His success relies too much on the running game and he hasn't shown the ability (aside from week 5) to take over games like a top Quarterback. Nevertheless you made this thread after his putrid game against the New York Giants.

These are the Quarterbacks that have been playing better than him.

(in no specific order)

Tom Brady
Joe Flacco
Andy Dalton
Ben Roethlisberger
Matt Schaub
Peyton Manning
Phillip Rivers
Eli Manning
Robert Griffin III
Aaron Rodgers
Matt Ryan
Drew Brees

I would have to give it to Cutler, Forte, and Marshall in a close one over Schaub, Foster, and Johnson. Both teams have great, quick ball carriers, and reliable superstar receivers, with QBs that can manage the game and make the big throw. I would just give it to the Bears because at this point in his career Marshall is better than Johnson is right now, and Cutler has a stronger arm than Schaub and could do much more damage if he had a better line. Also for the Falcons, Turner is having a terrible year and he is a liability in passing since he can't block or catch well. Ironically enough he is the biggest liability in the triplett considering his value in the past.

Tom Brady yes
Joe Flacco yes

Ben Roethlisberger yes
Matt Schaub arguable
Peyton Manning no
Phillip Rivers no
Eli Manning yes
Robert Griffin III child please
Aaron Rodgers yes
Matt Ryan yes
Drew Brees yes
Well as I mentioned in the OP this is about balance, which is why its tripletts, not who is the best QB. so holding the fact that he has a terrific running game is counterproductive to the purpose of the thread.

You really think that Smith has been playing better than RGIII?

Griffin doesn't have the NFL's best defense backing him up. He also has a worse WR corps as well as a worse running game than Smith.

QBR isn't the sole measure of how good a QB is playing dude. I would take how RGIII is playing over how Smith has been playing in a second.

Triplets is so 90's...

Quadruplets is how the Giants roll nowadays... Eli, Bradshaw, Nicks and Cruz.

Soon to be the quintuplets with David Wilson. Wink
