I have a lot more done on this mock, but if I got something wrong in the first round, that needs to be fixed first. I know I will get hate for the spots some teams are picking, and also I know personally not all Falcons fans want Eifert in round 1. My opinion is short and sweet. Matt Ryan throws too much to his TE for us to start Michael Palmer (assuming Tony retires).
Also it would be well appreciated if you guys give me feedback and a general list of needs so I can check the rest of my mock as well. _________________

Love Geno.
I would like to give you a list of other needs, but it will really be determined by the offseason. Whether or not we have a regime change and key free agents (Bowe, Albert, Dorsey). That will have a huge impact on where we go with our selections.
However lets assume for the sake of this mock that Dorsey and Bowe walk and Albert is retained along with coaching staff and gm.
Not in any particular order:
ILB - Replace Belcher
OLB - need more Pass rush
Safety - Lewis can't stay healthy and Berry isn't back to normal yet
WR - Baldwin, Breaston, McCluster, Wylie are solid, but a #2 WR would be welcomed
TE - Moeaki hasn't made much of an impact (part of blame goes to QB) and we don't know about Boss returning
Those are probably the next four on our list. Of course if there is really good value at other positions (OL, CB, RB, DE) they would be heavily considered as well.
Hope that helped. |

It did. I was thinking ILB in the second, WR in 3, a swing S in 4, and a TE in 5.
Thanks for the feedback! _________________

Good to hear. Was somewhat worried about that one as a LB is what I thought you guys wanted. Warmack is solid that late though. _________________

| He'd be a steal there but I've been seeing him fall in recent mocks |

The Colts don't really need a WR. Unless he was supposed to be a top 5 pick he isn't worth it. Give us Mingo or Barrett. _________________

| I would probably take Sheldon Richardson over Kawann Short based on potential. Its kind of like the Fletcher Cox vs Devon Still debate last year. Richardson has more potential and is more athletic, Short doesnt have ideal athleticism but has the consistent production. |

As a Saints fan... If we were able to land a starting RDE through free agency then i'd be elated with Joeckel!!! _________________

Thanks for all the comments guys. Seems like I'm pretty accurate with what I thought needs were for most teams.
Should have a new larger mock out within a week or two. Again if you have any suggestions for later rounds let me know. _________________

As much as I would like to pair somone like Jenkins with McCoy are pass defense is horrible not including Saftey play. Talib with most likely be gone this year and Eric Wright is well you know Eric Wright we need a furture number 1 CB and I would love us to get Jonathan Banks with this pick now with the other rounds I would go with FS (if barber goes) OT, another CB, slot WR, depth at DT/DE _________________

Not crazy about the Falcons pick as i don't see TE as a 1st round value for us.
The reason being is i think that your wrong in the sense that you think Ryan relies on the TE position too much it's just that he relies on Gonzo alot because Gonzo is just that good. I truthfully believe that if Gonzo left and Harry was the 3rd option you would see him used more than a new TE that comes in considering when Gonzo is not on the field Ryan doesn't use the TE position no where near as much with a guy like Palmer. Since Eifert would be new and not on the level as Gonzo for sure i think he would be at best the 4th option for ryan to look at which would lower his value to me not being a 1st rounder.
Then you add in the TE class for next year being much better coming out and i say either take a guy later in this draft say 3rd round to work on or wait till next year when their is better talent if you must go 1st round or 2nd round. _________________

Not a bad Vikings pick. Short could be the Big 10 DPOY this season. _________________

No thanks - I like Terrance, but our problems are on D. We need pass-rush up front or secondary help. _________________
