Bingo.
*high fives*
Good news with Houston first, Omer Asik is pretty much their only center, along with the newly acquired Cole Aldrich. Asik is a pretty good defensive center and rebounder so we should see a decent look to see how much Monroe has improved and Drummond should get some good opportunities to perform well against Aldrich. _________________

Hopefully with the Rockets making such a huge roster change this close to the start of the season the Pistons can catch them discombobulated. Good point about the Monroe/Asik match up. I am really looking forward to seeing Monroe grow into a star.
Sidebar: do any of these guys have nicknames? I miss them.

^From earlier this month
Good part:
| Quote: | On draft day, one knock against Drummond was his work ethic, but several Pistons praised his effort this summer.
"He works extremely hard," said Corey Maggette, a 13-year veteran.
Frank also praised Drummond's work ethic: "He is working extremely hard. He has been extremely committed. He wants to learn, looks you in the eye. He is eager to learn. He has definitely made progress." |
and
| Quote: | | ... and Maggette has become Drummond's mentor: "This is a guy who is 19 and is still learning this game. He needs somebody around him. He needs a big brother, and I'm going to help anyway I can." |

Quick question for you guys. Has Greg Monroe moved to PF to accomodate Andre Drummond yet? Having those 2 in the paint is a very great start to build a team. You should have a nice pick and roll team with Brandon Knight and those big guys. _________________

Great question.
I think they will try to get them out there together when the match-up dictates as such. Drummond is so raw offensively that his only goal is to play solid defense. Monroe is a great passer and should excel in the pick and roll. |

Not yet. It appears that Drummond will start the season in a reserve role at C, with our starting front court being Prince-Maxiell-Monroe. Not sure how much Drummond/Monroe play together to start the year. _________________

Well Singler and English really impressed me. Drummond did not get enough minutes IMO.

lol detfan sounds like me last year.
tough one to lose. team's just so young.
I wish we'd stop starting Maxiell. I truly believe a frontcourt of Drummond-Monroe would be more effective right now. _________________

Seriously the only way to talent is the lottery. NBA is broken system
All the vets need to go. Dump salary.
Draft Shabazz Muhammad
PG- Knight
SG- Stuckey
SF- Muhammad--can play SG too
PF- Monroe
C- Drummond _________________

Was nice to see Daye and Charlie V not play
and to the above post, a top pick would be nice, but I don't know if this team's bad enough. There's more talent than last year and last year we got #9.
I'd love to sign a SG or PF, but tonight's Palace crowd didn't help matters. _________________

That is why I want Muhammad. He would be perfect fit with Knight, Monroe and Drummond _________________
