If he can get his head on straight, which may be easier said then done, this could be a big move for NE. He has natural talent, and their locker room should be bale to keep him check while harnessing that talent. Good move for them IMO.
Same for the Bucs, get what you can before it gets too late.

Probably gonna trade back a bunch of times and recoup all of those.
Either that or it means BB really doesn't like next year's draft class.

I thought it said the Bucs were the ones giving up their 7th, not the Pats?

This move suggests they're sticking with McCourty at S.
Also, I think the Welker and Vollmer contract situations affected the thinking. If they are both to be resigned, they'll need some extra cap room in '13 and onward.

This is a move that I only like because its the Patriots. Teams like the Patriots, Packers, Steelers, Giants have the organizational management and locker room leaders to take on a personality like Talib. Perfect type of place for him, if he doesn't get it right here I doubt he will ever grow up.
If this was any team other than the established veteran locker rooms, I would expect it to go south. |

I hope your wrong though. Lester and Elam might be good w/ Wilson and Gregory. But I think McCourty will be at S until we get Gregory and Chung back. Long term mCCourty is a mch better Cb than S.
