| Well, he finally got a competent QB and has done a good job handling him. Third year or not, the Redskins have made enough progression offensively to keep him around. The defense on the other hand has been gifting big plays left and right. Can't consistently win like that; they will have to re-tool that secondary next year or they will have the same problems occurring again. Haslett can get the job done he just needs some stallions that don't make mental mistakes. |

| The Redskins have a rookie QB. Most teams with those don't make the playoffs. The team is very young and gaining experience. Anyone objectively looking at the Redskins roster preseason woud say this year was a continuation of the rebuilding effort that began when Shanahan and Bruce Allen took over. Also, that process was hampered this offseason by Mara's cap tantrum. |
