With the 8th pick, the San Diego Chargers select:
Taylor Lewan, OT, Michigan
With the 39th pick, the San Diego Chargers select:
Jordan Poyer CB Oregon State
With the 76th pick, the San Diego Chargers select:
Cornellius Carradine OLB Florida State
With the 107th pick, the San Diego Chargers select:
Montee Ball RB Wisconsin
With the 138th pick, the San Diego Chargers select:
Omoregie Uzzi G Georgia Tech
With the 169th overall pick, the San Diego Chargers select:
Braxston Cave C Notre Dame
With the 200th pick, the San Diego Chargers select:

I don't like Lewan as anything close to a top 10 pick right now, but I really dig the other selections. _________________

6th - Greg Reid CB/RS FSU
7th - Latavius Murray HB UCF |
I set out to improve my OL, add more weapons on offense and make the team as a whole more athletic. I think I succeeded in that. I added two major outside threats in Mike Wallace and Terrance Williams. Added a big play threat and a good receiving/blocking HB in McFadden. I know his injury history which is why I am going to use D-Rich and Pead a lot to keep him healthy. If he does go down, I drafted Latavius Murray as a developmental HB that would act as the big back in his absence. Murray is one of my favorite HB prospects in this draft.
At TE, I brought in 2 big rookie TEs in Otten and Escobar. Escobar is more of an athletic receiving flex TE while Otten is a traditional inline TE. I think they could make a good combo in the future. It'll also allow us to move around Lance Kendricks and to continue to use him in the FB/TE role.
In order to stabilize my OL, I brought in Jake Long to play LT. Saffold has been near elite at LT when he has played this year but there's too much risk with his injuries. It would give us 2 great OTs when they play. The rest of the OL is solid. Feel like Sam would get good protection.
Defensively, I brought in developmental rookie Sam Montgomery who I think has a lot of potential for the future. Also added a speedy coverage OLB in Zaviar Gooden, a talented but troubled slot CB and returnman in Greg Reid and very talented safety Shawne Williams.
Just wanted to improve my athleticism on D and shore up the safety spot. I'm pretty happy with the results of the mock. _________________

I hate 49ers. They are nearly complete team with an abundant of draft picks to play with. Not fair. |

I have to tip the cap to you guys. I have no idea how this made it as far as it did.
Great job. Sorry for the speed bumps, really wish I would have had the time needed to run this better.
Again great job fellas. Hopefully, the next time I run one it goes much smoother.
Thanks for the work. _________________
