Well I didn't think it was possible but our pass rush got worse. Don't understand cutting him mid season.
Let's hope Turner is next. _________________

Holy... I hope TD knows for a FACT that Matthews or Sidbury can be just as effective. Edwards was a poor pass rusher, but not a bad player overall. _________________

Yes your right. But sometimes Abe lines up on both sides. Regardless I like the move. Let these young guys get a shot. This is a young man's game _________________

Edwards is indeed 27 but never showed his potential |

| I think our pass rush just got better. Edwards can be a good player and probably will be with the right team. He isn't a guy who can be counted on to provide a consistent rush though |

Yes but 27 isn't so young in the NFL. Especially at his position. John Abe is a very rare case. And his best NFL years are def behind him. We got 3 younger De's who deserve a shot for once. _________________

27 is pretty much considered your prime |

Not really in the NFL. Most of these guys come in at ages 20 to 22. The average NFL career is like 3yrs? Most won't even make it to 27. You only hear about the rare cases cases but most guys won't last till 27. Its pretty clear Edwards prime was when he we 24 and 25 _________________

27 is about your prime. At 27 you are probably who you are going to be as a player. There are players 30+ who are doing their thing. i agree our younger guys need to play but not just because theyre young but because they have potential. |
