Over the past two weeks, three former Texans players have won ST POW awards, and the Texans currently rank 32nd in most major ST categories.
If the Texans lose another playoff game due to poor ST play, I will vomit. _________________

And 2 of the 3 were released by the team, they weren't scheduled to be free-agents. The 3rd player was traded to his current team by the Texans. _________________

Nice work Andy. If the Texans lose another playoff game due to poor ST play, I will vomit. | Jacoby has been a great pickup for us. First time we've had a credible threat from our #3 receiver. He's still had some issues with consistency and has disappeared from the offense in a couple of games, but he's the best kick returner we've had in years and Joe has had some fun using him as a deep threat so far. Did cause an interception last week when he didn't fight hard enough on a 50/50 ball, though.
Course, I won't be surprised if he muffs a punt or drops a pass and knocks us out come playoff time.
Between Leach, Pollard, and Jacoby, we've had some success picking guys up from Houston and putting them in situations to succeed. Pollard in particular was never a consistent player with KC or Houston and can still struggle in coverage, but playing next to Ed Reed has allowed him to really come into his own. Really 'plays like a Raven,' as they like to say around Baltimore. _________________ "The really important kind of freedom involves attention, and awareness, and discipline, and effort, and being able truly to care about other people and to sacrifice for them, over and over, in myriad petty little unsexy ways, every day.”

Seems like Baltimore tends to get the most out of former Texans - Vonta Leach seems like a good blocking FB for you, Bernard Pollard has established himself as a good S, and now Jones in his ST/WR duties.
How 'bout you cut Haloti Ngata, see if former Ravens can help out the Texans. _________________

There were so many good defensive performances by AFC players, but I'm glad Butler won.
He single-handedly doubled our turnovers this entire season in one game. _________________
